We welcome referrals from general practitioners and specialists for patients requiring expert care in perioperative medicine, cardiometabolic health and internal medicine.

Suitable Referral Conditions Are Welcomed For:

  • Cardiometabolic medicine: lipid disorders, statin intolerance, high cardiovascular risk
  • Perioperative medicine: preoperative risk assessments and medical optimisation for surgical patients
  • Complex internal medicine cases: patients with multiple comorbidities requiring expert inpatient and/or outpatient care

Referral Process

Our referral process allows us to efficiently review all referrals from specialists and GPs

  • Detailed referrals are accepted by email to info@physiciancareperth.com.au (please include relevant medical history and current medications)
  • Our team will promptly coordinate with your patient to schedule an appointment and ensure seamless communication throughout their care journey

Dr Venkataraman and her team try to reply to emails daily, however it may take up to 3 working days to get a response. Referrals sent by email cannot be used for urgent or medical queries.
